KangaROOS & Sven Schuster

KangaROOS built a team with newcomer Sven Schuster, a graduate of the prestigious fashion design course of AMD (Academy of Fashion and Design in Dusseldorf). For his final work created Sven Schuster – alongside its own menswear collection entitled, “We Are Africa” – together with a KangaROOS sneaker collection on the topic.

Consisting of five different styles, this extraordinary footwear range was inspired by African subcultures and wildlife as well as international fabric and pattern trends creating an exceptional juxtaposition of modern silhouettes, traditional African colors and luxurious materials. It encompasses several sportive low- and high-top sneakers in crisp acid tones and some more sartorial and sophisticated hybrid styles but all crafted from finest high-quality fabrics such like laser-cut leather, ostrich skin, suede, patent leather, waxed cotton, hologram pvc, faux fur and even wooden beads.Projekt-Sven-Schuster_1 Projekt-Sven-Schuster_2 Projekt-Sven-Schuster_3 Projekt-Sven-Schuster_4
