Mixing handcrafted techniques with a contemporary style, for the spring/summer 2014 season, Matteo Molinari was inspired by ancient methods used to construct religious garments. Looking at details such as drawn thread work and crocheting modeled after aluminum chains, Molinari incorporated an artisan’s flair to his latest collection. From fitted to relaxed fits, black, gray and white dress the collection that pairs charming knits with oversize shirting and playful tailoring.
