Evolving from a self-imposed monochrome minimalism togrand minimalism, young label En Noir took the New York stage to debut their fall/winter 2014 collection. En Noir designer Rob Garcia brought luxury to an on-trend urban-inspired collection with pony hair, hand-distressed leather and other luxurious materials. Clad in head to toe black, the rich fabrics came in handy, offering a mix of textures for interest in a lineup of contemporary essentials. Reinterpreted with modern silhouettes, essentials such as the hooded zipped jacket were refocused with halved sleeves or pullovers given a shrunken fit to layer nicely with the line’s elongated tops.
