The meteoric rise of American Menswear label Public School is one to be admired. Having recently won the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund, and taking the American market by storm, it stealthily bagged the inaugural Men’s International Woolmark Prize today at LC:M.  The competition drew entries from an international pool of designers from 20 countries, culminating in a shortlist of 5 forerunners: Sise from Japan, Asger Juel Larson from Denmark, Australia’s Strateas Carlucci, The Emperor 1688 From UAE and Public School from the United States.

“It feels unbelievable to win the International ‪#‎WoolmarkPrize‬. We are the first US winners in the competition so we are really proud and it’s incredibly meaningful to us.”
