Les Hommes Mens Fall/Winter 2015 Milan

Les Hommes designers Tom Notte and Bart Vanderbosch are pretty consistent in terms of their clean, urban, spy guy styles.

With the casualization of menswear in full swing, the duo showcased an array of designs that cater to a day-to-night jet-set lifestyle.

“I think casualization is here to stay, but in a refined way,” Notte told NOWFASHION backstage.

Sportswear items like neoprene sweatshirts bonded with geometric designs are fit for mountain climbing or dinner, Notte said, adding that they opted for brocade-like prints on skin-hugging evening wear suits to infuse a more nonchalant edge.

The color scheme was a mix of black and iridescent silvers and greens – subtle like they are on the wings of a beetle.

Himalayan prints were plastered over alpaca and mohair jackets for a more tribal edge. Also emphasizing this mountain theme were snowflake patterns and exotic furs like astrakhan.

But with its tapered pants and neat, small collars and ribbed leather gloves, Les Hommes couldn’t escape its reputation for dressing a man who strives for a precision no matter what terrain – whether it be urban or mountain – he finds himself in.
