With the Nineties trending in Paris, obvious references to the period can be a temptation. Stephanie Hahn steered clear of them, producing an athletic collection with a deluxe feel that harked back to the ravers of Manchester’s famous nightclub, The Haçienda, mixed with English huntsmen dressing.
The unusual combination created an interesting dynamic. Cue zip-up track tops rendered in upscale shirting fabrics and pleated tartan trousers with ribbon details running down the sides. The English heritage patterns in brown tones were on trend and transitioned into a sleeveless waistcoat, done up with a two-way zipper, that was worn over a high-tech turtleneck top.
The sleeveless silhouettes were also spotted on long coats with quilted satin, which looked surprisingly light and lofty.
