Iceberg Men’s Spring 2017

Iceberg creative director James Long designed a collection infused with a playful, joyful vibe. A maritime theme emerged in the lineup that was filled with knits and T-shirts embellished with stripes, while the season’s signature shirt — a cotton hooded style — was inspired by sailors’ uniforms.

In a move to explore exotic atmospheres, Long splashed an allover tropical pattern worked in a subdued color palette of military green and black on a fluid silk shirt and reversible bombers, and embroidered the back of a washed denim jacket with a palm. In an homage to Iceberg’s long-lasting link with the art world, a Warhol-like image of Superman appeared as an intarsia on a crewneck sweater.
