When I started running the PnV Instagram I decided to do some networking. One of the first people I met was photographer Gene Wells.
We had some things in common. First we are both from Texas. Gene is based in Houston and I’m in DFW. Secondly, I was a big fan of Matt Williams, who’s also from Texas, and Gene is good friends with Matt.
Since that initial conversation Gene has become one of my best friends and I’ve the opportunity to get to know Matt Williams some as well. I asked Gene if he’d be interested in featuring photos of Matt here for us and he was thrilled.
He sent me these incredible shots from Matt’s first ever photoshoot exclusively for PnV. As you can tell Gene knew he had a star on his hands!
