Miquel Suay Spring/Summer 2018 080 Barcelona

“Courage” is the disposition with which the heart and soul face the challenges; It is the firmness of the danger and the difficulties. It means courage, passion and effort. It is the sine qua non (something absolutely indispensable or essential) a condition to transcend.

Borja, the most influential Valencian cheerleader of all time, is an example of this determination. Above his black legend, Lucrezia, Calixtus, Alexander and his foster the greatest geniuses of the Renaissance: Miquel Àngel, Tiziano, Leonardo … His legacy is universal.

Miquel Suay claims this patronage and the imprint of the Borja in the cities that marked their journey through history: Xàtiva, Gandia and Valencia. This is an avant-garde proposal that emanates from classicism.

Born in Xàtiva (Valencia), the city of Borja, Miquel Suay is the creative director of the firm that bears his name. His commitment to the development and consolidation of his own male aesthetic in Spanish fashion has led him to develop, from the beginning of his career, two annual prêt-à-porter collections for man.

In July 2016, “Cinetic”, inspired by the legacy of the architect Zaha Hadid, received the Prize of the Generalitat of Catalonia for the Best Collection within the framework of the 080 Barcelona Fashion gateway.

Following the family tradition, Miquel Suay develops, for his brand, different lines of ceremony for women, for men and for the girl.

Miquel Suay’s designs are available online, in multi-brand establishments in five countries and in their own network of their own stores, among which their boutique / showroom stands on Avinguda Diagonal, 439 (Barcelona).

Since 2016, Miquel Suay has been chairing the Association of Valencian Fashion Designers.
