Gucci Fall/Winter 2018 Milan

Presenting the #GucciFW18 show space. The concept reflects the work of a designer—the act of cutting, splicing and reconstructing materials and fabrics to create a new personality and identity with them. The materials used are typical of an operating room and the environment around it: PVC on the walls and floors, fire doors with panic-bars, LED lamps, and plastic chairs like those in a waiting room.
The LED lighting is stark, white and blinding.

On the #GucciFW18 runway: a silk scarf with horse print designed to be worn on the head and a leather bag with Horsebit and interlocking G detail reveals a tiger head detail inspired by a vintage Hattie Carnegie jewelry design.

Details in the #GucciFW18 fashion show, a knitted balaclava inspired by a vintage ski knit, topped with a jacquard turban, and a dark gold lurex jacket and geometric beads.

Mysterious creatures: a model in a quilted velvet jacket carrying a dragon walks the #GucciFW18 show. Inspired by the ‘Legend of the baby dragon in the jar’, the real story of an author who staged finding a baby dragon in his garage in Oxfordshire, England.
