Prada Spring/Summer 2019 Milan

Prada Thinking fashion since 1913.

And yes, we’re going back to 1913 with new Prada Spring/Summer 2019 Milan collection.

For the #PradaSS19 Menswear show a geometric pattern invades the room, a manifestation of the principles that organize the show’s choreography.

Numbers and symbols define the exact positioning of the actors in the space, alluding to geographic coordinates of remote places.

#AMO stages a return to basics with a sophisticated setup that brings fashion into the foreground by questioning the recent practice that sees show sets as explanatory efforts to contextualize collections.

An exclusive re-edition of the iconic 1960s #InflatableStool designed by renowned Danish designer and pioneer, #VernerPanton has been produced by #Verpa exclusively for Prada on the occasion of the #PradaSS19 Menswear show.

With the #InflatableStool, Panton created an unpretentious piece that despite its unassuming presence offers an extraordinary visual quality to the seating experience, which can best be described as ‘floating on air’.

Prada was right about the clothes: They were a mixed bag of separates, ranging from lean, flat-front trousers with tone-on-tone belts in-house staples like eggplant, sludgy brown and forest green, to tailored jeans and jackets, to a lineup of straightforward suede overcoats and jackets.
