Missoni Ready To Wear Fall/Winter 2020 Milan

Here’s the looks of Missoni Ready To Wear Fall/Winter 2020 Milan

A patchwork of bright geometric patterns. a collection that celebrates knitwear, a speciality of the italian house which puts men and women on the same catwalk.the silhouette is slender and fluid.

The coat, the flagship piece of the collection, is loose and protective and comes in different versions that look like a kimono or dressing gown.

Trousers are tucked into high boots. A more tightly-fitted line is distinguished by leggings worn with a long jumper or a draped dress. Attention is also brought to the level of the collars. The neck is protected by a small scarf.

The cardigans can be worn next to skin. The evening reveals more sensuality. The materials are adorned with shine.

The men are also dressed in graphic elements and a mix of motifs.

The jumpers are soft and the suits are flexible and lit with lurex.to note: The slightly soft basque berets, the bags held by knit on the shoulder, the boots in leather patchwork and the long woollen gloves.

”I still mixed men and women to have something more precise, more real as well at the same time and even for the men, the fantasies are important, the metallic fabrics and the brightness of the metallic fabrics is very important. It’s bright, even if the colours of the collection are more subtle but there are touches of red, turquoise and yellow.”

Angela Missoni

It’s a collection of very specific silhouettes.in reality, underneath the large volumes, there are fine silhouettes, tightly-fitted dresses, then there is this double thing that’s very feminine, close to the body and with this sort of protection to go out.

A beat of horizontal, diagonal and vertical stripes that shift, move, swing, wrap on and around the body, leaving no way to froth and frivolity – up to a point…
