Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY Men’s & Women’s Fall 2023 Milan

Charles Jeffrey aka Loverboy presents “Engine Room” at Milan Fashion Week.

‘Entry to Ajüka must be earned, and is only granted through working long, gruelling hours in The Engine Room’…

Be enveloped in the narrative of the A/W 23 RTW entitled ‘Engine Room’. An original concept by Charles Jeffrey, delve into the world of Ajüka where we meet with the next two characters, Senga (27) and Hortence (29).

Senga (Worker), has been toiling in the Engine Room for three months. She is slightly naive and has not yet been completely disenfranchised by the conditions she’s living in, but she is timid and a little awestruck by her old friend Hortence’s (Snake) glamorous appearance.

Hortence has been living in Ajüka for two years. They know Senga as both were members of the same Glaedyhoot tribe in the land below. Hortence has been a Snake for just over a year. They regularly take trips to the Worker bars down near the Engine Room to gauge the temperature of those living there and to scour for material for stories.
