Are you the type of guy to always go for basic tees and jeans? Is your wardrobe literally full of them? It’s easy to understand why – basic tees and jeans are a staple. They’re easy to style. They’re safe. But we think men’s fashion can be so much more than that. Read on to find out more.
Breaking the Monotony
If you want to. And for some people – a selection of wholesale t shirts and jeans is enough. And you can get some good quality pieces from retailers like Wordans. But we’re trying to convince you to move away from basic tees and jeans – or at least expand your wardrobe.
The repetitive cycle of tees and jeans is reliable, yes, but it can lead to a style rut. You can look much better, even by elevating basic tees and jeans.
Fashion as a Form of Self-Expression
Fashion is self-expression. Does a basic tee and jeans do that? Not really. And we’re not saying you should walk around Kanye (Ye) West style. Well, some of his baggy-fit styles look incredible, but not everybody can pull that off. But fashion should reflect your personality. And some of you might say casual is my personality – and that’s fine.
You can still pair an oversized tee with baggy jeans and some Nike Blazers (just an example) and look good. There’s nothing more comfortable than baggy jeans and an oversized tee. Well, maybe sweatpants, but you can’t wear them everywhere.
Still, we think there are ways to stick to your comfort zone, if comfort is your comfort zone, and look slightly more…fashionable. Linen tees are perfect. They’re comfortable, easy to style, and look smart. Or linen pants and a casual shirt look good. And we’ll be in summer before you know it – it’s the perfect season to get the linen out.
Essentially, we’re trying to say that there’s always a form of expressing yourself, even if you’re not into bold fashion.
Adaptability
Be adaptable. You don’t have to be uncomfortable, but be adaptable. If you’re going for a dinner (casual setting), wear a casual shirt rather than a tee. Or, wear a smart jacket over your basic tee. When our default style choice is tees and jeans, it’s easy to not have a clue what to wear.
Adapting your wardrobe to suit various occasions doesn’t mean losing your style. It’s about finding versatile ways to express it.

Men’s fashion is no different from women’s fashion – it can be anything you want. But, and most people will agree, typically speaking, men’s fashion is more casual. Stick on jeans and a T-shirt, and we’ll wear it for days. Is that wrong?
