Celebrate Pride Month and enjoy yourself with the empowering sounds of the LGBTQ+ community. This year has been marked by an incredible lineup of albums from queer artists, each one offering a unique perspective on love, self-discovery, and resilience.

Leading the pack is Bright Light Bright Light’s “Enjoy Youth,” a vibrant, synth-infused journey that encourages listeners to embrace their individuality and seize the moment.
Our highly recommended tunes include “You Want My…” which has a grand opening, followed by “Snap!” featuring a collaboration with Berri, delivering a straight and impactful Pat-Benatar-80s beat. Additionally, the collaboration of Rod Thomas with Ultra Naté in the smash hit “Every Emotion” is truly a favored tune.
Orville Peck’s “Stampede: Vol.1” defies genre conventions through its captivating blend of country and alternative music. The EP features powerful melodies, compelling songwriting, and notable collaborations with Elton John and Willie Nelson, making it a noteworthy musical endeavor. And today he released a tune with goddess of Pop Kylie Minogue and Diplo.
Shygirl’s “Club Shy” invites us into a seductive, boundary-pushing world of club-ready bangers. Totally absorbed, she delivered and left no crumbs at all.
Roisin Murphy’s “Hit Parade Remixes” brings together an outstanding selection of reworked tracks from her acclaimed album “Hit Parade.” Featuring contributions from System Olympia, Moodymann, Eli Escobar, and Hernan Cattaneo, this collection showcases the power of collaboration and artistic reinvention.
Charli XCX’s “BRAT” promises to push the boundaries of pop music with her signature blend of playful lyrics and captivating beats. Charli is making a big impact with “Club Classics,” leaving a lasting impression with her work, “B2b”, “360”, and “Von Dutch”. I cannot stop thinking about it. She is truly excelling in her craft. There’s no beat in her field. She is the sound of pop in 2024. Track obsession is “Sympathy is a Knife.”
And Kiesza’s “Dancing and Crying Vol.1” is a cathartic dancefloor anthem that delves into the peaks and valleys of love and self-expression. It artfully captures the experience of simultaneously dancing and shedding tears, a poignant testament to the complex emotions intertwined in human existence.
Additional standout releases include Conan Gray’s introspective and heartfelt “Found Heaven.” You need to listen this ASAP.
For anticipated EP Adam Lambert, released LUBE // WET DREAM produced by NOVODOR known well to produce “Rush” by Troye Sivan, Adam is making a great comeback, where He really said “it’s pride month, give it to the gays” WET DREAM is such a good slutty summer bop, Adam was such an important trailblazer within mainstream pop culture. I’m always excited to hear more from him. This is great. It sounds like something Michael Medrano would release and now I desperately want them to collaborate.
And the powerful storytelling found within IDLES’ “Hi\_Tek Mzk, Vol.1” Trash beats, all over the place.
