Kenzo Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 Paris

Unveiled at the illustrious Palais-Royal in Paris, the Kenzo Spring/Summer 2025 collection showcased a fusion of cultural heritage and contemporary fashion, embodying Artistic Director Nigo’s vision for the Maison. Drawing inspiration from everyday archetypal garments, the collection blurred the lines between East and West, blending sporty outerwear with oriental lines, relaxed tailoring, and traditional Japanese silhouettes.

Entitled “KENZOLOGY,” the collection is a testament to Nigo’s commitment to bridging the gap between the past and the present. By reimagining archival ideas and incorporating elements from diverse cultural backgrounds, Nigo has cultivated an evolutionary wardrobe that speaks to the modern, globally-conscious consumer.

The collection seamlessly integrated elements from the East, such as draped scarf dresses with fringing and kimono-inspired sleeves, with more Western silhouettes, like contrast-color wrap dresses and tailored outerwear. The result was a refreshing and innovative take on contemporary fashion that paid homage to Kenzo’s rich history while pushing the boundaries of modern design.

The Kenzo Spring/Summer 2025 show was a celebration of cultural diversity, as evidenced by the inclusive casting and the music produced by a range of international artists, including WhoJiggi, Ero, Jaystolaa, and Sekai. The presence of Friend of the House Pharrell, who attended with his family, added further star power to the event and emphasized the brand’s commitment to cultural exchange and collaboration.

Critics and fashion enthusiasts alike praised the collection for its unique blend of textures, colors, and cultural references. The incorporation of mesh and crochet details in both men’s and women’s collections was particularly lauded for its innovation and nod to traditional craftsmanship.

In essence, the Kenzo Spring/Summer 2025 collection was a celebration of the brand’s storied past and its bright future under Nigo’s creative direction. By combining elements from various cultures and reimagining classic designs with a contemporary twist, Nigo has successfully crafted a collection that speaks to the modern, globally-minded individual. As the brand continues to evolve and grow, one thing remains clear: Kenzo’s commitment to inclusivity, innovation, and cultural exchange is stronger than ever.
