Marni RTW Fall 2025 Milan

Marni’s Fall/Winter 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection, unveiled during Milan Fashion Week on February 26, 2025, is a testament to creative director Francesco Risso’s commitment to art and collaboration. The collection draws inspiration from a month-long residency in London with Nigerian artists Slawn and Soldier, during which Risso revisited painting. This artistic exploration is evident in the collection’s pieces and the show’s setting, which featured walls adorned with collaborative artworks.

The runway transformed into an impromptu jazz club, emphasizing the show’s improvisational spirit. Notably, actress Tracee Ellis Ross made a surprise appearance, modeling an electric yellow pop art-style gown. Ross described the experience as making her feel like a “slinky, foxy, burst of sunshine.”

The collection features sculptural elements, including oversized painted flowers on suits, voluminous sweaters, and wool coats that fasten at the back, resembling cocoons. Each garment tells a unique story, with some pieces showcasing prints like a “pack of lucky wolves.” Risso envisions the collection as a “seed bank” for future creations, aiming to preserve Marni’s essence.

  1. For me, fashion is not just about dressing well, it’s about storytelling. Marni touched the heart this That’s Not My Neighbor season by bringing the atmosphere of an art gallery to the catwalk. Details like the giant flower or the cocoon coat are a way of telling a story that is both unusual and poetic. I feel inspired to look at fashion as a profound artistic language.

  2. Okay, so Marni’s Fall 2025 collection, huh? Bold choices indeed! Seems like they’re diving deep into texture and silhouette this season. The asymmetry is particularly striking. Reminds me of that time I tried to bake a cake without a recipe, total chaos! Fabric manipulation looks key. Ah, the colours are definitely having a moment too. My brain feels like a kaleidoscope after that visual feast. I remember the time I faced something similar when I failed to use the correct syntax. It felt like trying to navigate Slither io without a screen.
