Les Benjamins Returns to Dubai with “El Gringo” SS26 Collection

Naming “El Gringo,” the runway was charged with raw energy, fearless creativity, and a vision that pushed the boundaries of modern fashion.
The creative duo Bünyamin and Lamia Aydin presented a collection that beautifully merged Ottoman heritage with Mexican influences. Inspired by the history of proto-Turks migrating from Siberia to Mexico, the collection told a story of movement, migration, and cultural exchange.

Highlights of the collection included:
Turkish carpet-patterned ensembles reimagined through a streetwear lens. Vibrant Day of the Dead motifs woven into contemporary silhouettes. A balance between heritage and futurism, tradition and innovation.

The show reflected Les Benjamins’ continuing mission: redefining luxury streetwear with cultural depth and artistic elegance.
“From Proto-Turks crossing continents 20,000 years ago to today’s digital nomads, a parallel history unfolds,” the brand shared. Past and present collapsed into a new vision for the future — one where East meets West in unexpected harmony.
This marked the brand’s second year as Correspondent Designers at Dubai Fashion Week, affirming their role as storytellers of global culture through fashion.

Les Benjamins continues to inspire, proving once again that true creativity transcends borders.
