Photographed by Karim Sadli, models Tim Schuhmacher and Florian Luger travel to the island of Corsica for Dior Homme’s latest look book, featuring the spring 2014 pre-collection of creative director Kris Van Assche. Looking to three themes (Disappear Here, Stroke andZero) to inform the new collection, Van Assche refers to contemporary art for inspiration. While Disappear Here references the paint splashes of Jackson Pollock that completely covered canvases, Stroke sees the use of smaller brush strokes. In stark contrast, the geometric use of black or large blocks of color represent Zero and its reference of abstract compositions of constructivist painting.
