Born and based in Barcelona, Selim Somavilla of forms as a fashion designer in this city and London. In 2005 he graduated in Barcelona and is part of the team of Martin Lamothe for two collections. The British capital offers a new look, maturity and perspective for their future work dedicated to menswear, through studies at LCF and working for The Rodnik Band.
“DOWNTOWN” is an unisex proposal for the upcoming Fall / Winter 2014-2015 by Selim Somavilla. A collection of contrasts, which it usually does normally. Used warm fabrics such as wool, silk or leather, which abut artificial tissues, such as polyester fabric technology or imitations of animal hair. In this case, the diamond and spike are taking important figures. The pattern and color are two strengths of the proposal. How combined creates an atmosphere that once again takes us to a very personal universe
