Making the return to New York Fashion Week, designer Antonio Azzuolo showed his fall/winter 2014 collection in a small presentation. Tapping model Dylan River for the accompanying look book, Azzuolo’s new collection represents a myriad of influences. Evoking a certain playfulness, diverse decades, cities and people interact for the range and its use of oversize tailoring. Here, baggy trousers intentionally cut too long are paired with jackets of varying cuts. Perhaps, the result of his work at Giuliano Fujiwara, eastern references come into play with slouchy shapes and the belting of draped jackets.
