ABOUT MAKIN JAN MA

Makin Jan Ma is a London based independent fashion label based on an ongoing film project run by Makin Ma – touching on all elements of life, love and fantasy.

Makin writes stories and scripts and he makes clothes for his characters. He makes films for his stories while the characters wear their clothes in the films. Making film or actually dreaming to make a film is like a journey on its own.

The brand represents a story by itself, following a natural narrative of Makin’s journey and impressions, and represents a global community of inspiring individuals, places and ideas acquired along the way. Fusion of different mediums resulted in the construction of stories and characters, which are being represented through the collections.
