There’s no denying the influence fitness and sports have had on the fashion industry. Since the 2012 Olympics, sportswear pieces have been infiltrating the mainstream consciousness, with designers and brands alike reacting to this new acceptance of the genre. Particularly in the menswear market, lines are becoming increasingly blurred between function and style.

With this in mind, Topman have released their debut sportswear collection, which sees the perfect marriage of these two worlds. The 20 piece capsule collection fuses performance fabrics with the aesthetics of a fashion brand, in the form of gym tees, running leggings, sweatshirts and bomber jackets. Features such as mesh paneling and displaced seams are added for comfort, while breathable nylons and Dry-Tech technology offer the same quality as more upmarket alternatives.

With prices ranging from £12-£42, the collection is both affordable and impactful, and is available in store and online at Topman.com.
