In stark contrast to the minimalist sport-lux garments, we placed them on neon backgrounds and made Daniel do what he does best! The best part of it is mixing up Art and Fashion!

British artist Daniel van der Noon traded in the Thames for a Scandinavian way of life a few years back. Now caught between both Aarhus and Copenhagen, his work has been exhibited in Amsterdam, Shanghai, Aarhus, Copenhagen and Hamburg where he has delivered an array of window drawings, meticulously detailed cityscapes and intriguing pictorial narratives on both paper and canvas for gallery spaces, public institutions and private buyers.
Commenting on his own work, Daniel explains that “I like to travel a lot, visit new cities, see new places, hear new noises. Through these skylines I guess that the perks that I experience from traveling around are amplified in ink, and the memories recorded in these ongoing sprawls of images and text.”
“It’s the images that appear in the corner of your eye; those are the ones I pay most attention to. While in the process of drawing mild, peripheral hallucinations occur. Colour combinations appear springing from surrounding objects, works in progress, and other studio paraphernalia to combine into something that can be introduced into my own visual narratives. This would also explain the mess of my studio spaces.”

SELECTED HOMME epitomises good taste in every shape or form within modern menswear from the laid back casual guy to the classic and formal gentleman. He makes a unique interpretation of a contemporary man who is individual and confident with his style. He mixes and matches his existing wardrobe with the season’s newcomers to create a distinctive and exciting look. Attention to detail and high quality is key to the SELECTED HOMME man.
