General Idea Spring/Summer 2015 New York

General Idea‘s Bumsuk Choi was inspired by the brutalism of architecture, its strength, functionality, and expression of materiality.

I’ve never heard of this label but I would totally wear a lot of this. Cool, easy pieces I could easily incorporate into my wardrobe to spice things up.

Though, for the most part, well executed, the black and white window pane motifs were slightly repetitive. Choi tied in athletic inspiration as well, seen in knitted T-shirts, sweaters, and bottoms like neoprene basketball trousers and shorts.
