Flights were always fascinating to me; from the moment the plane takes off to the moment that the plane is in the air and there’s a sense of monotony, which feels like gliding.
For the Autumn-Winter 2015/16 collection, Eliran Nargassi drew inspiration from the world of aviation and my curiosity and desire to see and experience the world from a different angle. “My visual inspiration included landing routes, skylines and the atmosphere, which were translated into the garments.”
The collection consists 20 pieces in a color palette of white, black, grey and navy blue; Includes button down shirts in a classic fit, semi-tailored long sleeved tops, harem and skinny pants in a sporty silhouette yet with a tailored appearance, Bermuda shorts and tailored wool jackets. The collection was made in a variety of fabrics such as cotton, cotton jersey, wool and thin scuba. In addition several pieces were printed with engineered digital graphics.
The Brand
Eliran Nargassi was founded in 2013 in order to take part in Israel’s menswear market, and in addition to cater the modern individual who searches for innovative fashion with a personal touch and attention to details.
The brand’s aesthetic is clean, modern and minimalistic, with use of mixed fabrication, graphic style lines and supreme attention to details.
