McQ Men’s RTW Spring 2016

This season, McQ explored the realm of combining contradictory sides.

British youth subcultures — the punks and mods — were the audiences the collection was centered around, producing a wardrobe of accessible pieces reinvented in unexpected fabrics. Key pieces included kilts built into culotte silhouettes, wrinkled washed leathers and an interpretive print of the band Joy Division, which was shown blown up on bombers and reinvented as the unofficial logo of the brand for the season.

The younger naughty sibling has found a home in McQ’s homage this season.
