Ralph Lauren Purple Label Lookbook 2016

Ralph Lauren Purple Label’s innovative take on luxury menswear finds a fresh balance with bold elegance and refined masculinity.

Last fall, the Internet went crazy over a Swede named Konrad Annerud and his uncanny resemblance to a certain Oscar contender called Leonardo DiCaprio. (Vulture is convinced he’s a time-bending “looper.”) But viral fame can bring you more than just a huge spike in Instagram followers. It can lead to modeling gigs, too. Such is the life of a dude who happens to make us miss DiCaprio in his ’90s-era prime.

Barneys New York hired Annerud for its Ralph Lauren Purple lookbook, which will debut online on Sunday. And since the doppelgänger isn’t signed with a modeling agency, the arrangement between him and the fashion retailer was coordinated on Instagram. In fact, Annerud is pursuing a solo music career and is reportedly signed with Universal. However, we have to say this modeling side hustle seems to be working well so far for the Leo look-alike. More, please.
