PnV Network: Exclusive Interview with Alex Vanderlinden

PnV Network: Exclusive Interview with Alex Vanderlinden

by @PnVMaleModelHQ

One day I was doing some research on a model and stumbled across this photo of a guy in a baseball cap working outside. I thought, wow this guy is amazing! I downloaded the photo and tried every way in the world to find out who it was. This was before reverse search apps. A year later I was online and came across the full photo set and found out it was Alex Vanderlinden. From that point I found every photo I could of Alex. I’ve been presenting him on Twitter for a while and the noticed on Instagram he signed with Elite Miami, whom I have a good relationship with and asked if he’d be interested in doing an interview. Lucky me, he said yes!

Chris Chase: Alex, thanks so much for agreeing to do this interview. I personally have been a fan for quite some time. Give me your basic bio stats. Alex Vanderlinden by Fritz Yap (1)

Alex Vanderlinden: 6’1 185lbs, dark blonde hair, blue eyes, June 7 1992 Detroit MI.

CC: Detroit! Home of the Bad Boys. I bet I can guess this answer but who was your childhood hero?

AV: My Childhood hero was Ben Wallace, He was against the grain and I thought he was too cool lol. Afro, muscles and couldn’t play anything but Defense.

CC: My guess was Barry Sanders but Big Ben is a good choice. How long have you been in the business?

This was before reverse search apps. A year later I was online and came across the full photo set and found out it was Alex Vanderlinden.

AV: I have been in modeling since 2012. What drove me to modeling is wanting to just be me and instead of working some crap job forever, I thought how great and lucky I am that people like the way I look and naturally look up to me. So I hope to use that influence positively and also to pursuit a dream of an enjoyable life. People would randomly tell me to be a model or ask, and I was like that sounds like a great idea lol I feel very lucky, but I also physically work very hard.

CC: I think the best job any of us could ask for is one we enjoy doing. What are your long term goals?

AV: My long term goals are to show people that you can pursue dreams and achieve them. I want to spread love to people and not be a basic self absorbed, materialistic model or person in general. I hope to build my own brand in modeling, fitness, training and someone positive to look up too.

CC: You’re obviously in incredible shape. How to you stay so fit?

AV: My workout routine is usually 5 days a week, consisting of 3 ab sessions, 1 cardio session and the other days I focus on lifting intensely and in a circuit to keep in best condition as possible.

CC: That’s a lot of work! After all that you need some down time . What does a perfect day for Alex look like?

AV: A perfect day to me is going to get a donut and a coffee with my son. Going to the gym, and then swimming in a pool or at the beach with my son and friends or family. I enjoy the simple things in life, not a big party person.

CC: When you get to cheat on your diet, what’s your vice? This was before reverse search apps. A year later I was online and came across the full photo set and found out it was Alex Vanderlinden.

AV: My favorite cheat meal is always a rich chocolate almond, oreo, caramal ICE cream !

CC: ice cream is certainly my downfall! What do you like to do in your spare time?

AV: In my spare time Im always cooking or catching up with clients.

CC: Gotta love a man that cooks! Give me a rundown of your favorites.

AV: Favorite TV show is king of queens, because it always makes me laugh, favorite Music is a variety of country or Drake. My favorite sports teams are the Ravens and Lions.

This was before reverse search apps. A year later I was online and came across the full photo set and found out it was Alex Vanderlinden.

CC: I’ll bypass commenting on the Ravens. Lol If I asked your friends to describe you, what would they say?

AV: My friends would say that I am a person who tries to be an example. I always will fall short but I always wanna be someones shoulder to lean on or motivate them in anyway possible.

CC: Describe yourself in one word.

AV: DETERMINED. Im always trying to prove to others and myself that I can do whatever my goals are. My biggest fear in life is being normal, average or barely making it by. I have to be successful and not in just materialistic things.

CC: Who inspires you? This was before reverse search apps. A year later I was online and came across the full photo set and found out it was Alex Vanderlinden.

AV: I find my inspiration from my son and me. I don’t look up to anybody too much, I admire people, but I don’t wish to be anyone or want to be anyone. I want to be me, and be the best I can be for my son.
