Perry Ellis Spring/Summer 2017 New York

Creative Director Michael Maccari takes us through some of the looks from Perry Ellis Spring 2017 presentation at New York Fashion Week. #veryperry enhance a young clean collection.

While the collection was filled with the requisite tailored clothing, the models were updated with carrot-shaped pants and techno tweed fabrics. Playful prints in sweaters and jackets ranged from explosive weaves to painterly graphics, while the suit silhouette was very structured.

An array of slouchy iridescent anoraks were a highlight of the show and displayed Maccari’s ability to blend the old and the new.
