Rochambeau Fall/Winter 2017 New York

Rochambeau Fall/Winter 2017 in New York Fashion Week took punk to another level.

Menswear began with the late 70s early 80s nyc punk scene, not the typical hardcore scene, but the eccentric sub-genre that worked with and influenced the larger scene as a whole.

“We embraced then rejected sartorial norms to create an inspired and individual approach. in the dichotomy between artistry and chaos, we found our own ethos towards the expression of punk.” Rochambeau

The fashion brand collaborates with the prolific artist, musician, composer, Mark Mothersbaugh, owner from Devon and MTV video pioneer. “Our dialogue culminated in custom paint drippings on classic fabrications and performative references to his days with Devo.”
