Custo Barcelona Fall/Winter 2017 080 Barcelona

“Light Years” is the collection for FW17 / 18 of Custo Barcelona, a tribute to individuality, which has bright fabrics as a thread. The firm has several cruise collection exits, featuring small festivals.

Custo Barcelona is, at present, a consolidated brand of image that has since 1997 presented its collections, every season, at the New York Fashion Week. Innovation and creativity are the basis of a style characterized by the use of graphics and color, which has become an icon.

Custo Barcelona was created in the early 80’s by the brothers Dalmau, Custo and David, after a long journey that took them around the world. On their way, they not only discovered new landscapes, but also they could contemplate the most varied artistic, cultural and philosophical manifestations. One of the things that caught most attention was the California style, expressed in the look of surfers living in the south of the state, as well as in the psychedelic element of the northern part. The innovative fashion full of color that they found impressed them, especially a style of shirts that did not exist in Spain at that time.
