See the Document exclusive ‘Surf League’ by Thom Browne

Bi-annual fashion journal Document presents with label Thom Browne and photographer Wayne Lawrence to make a new kind of beachwear SS17 for surfers and divers and the fun part is that this is available now to shop now.

The styling is by Ronald Burton, casting by Midland Agency and with a production by Replica. Hairstylist by Lucas Wilson.

Benjamin Gutierrez wrote on Document “named trompe l’oeile, the re-seen wetsuit borrows all of the individual elements of a traditional menswear suit—jacket, trousers, lapels, top collar, tie—and merges them into a single, streamlined garment connected at the back with a zipper.”

Our beloved friend Jhanelle Castillo from New York Models stars in the editorial together with Dallas, Hakeem Nieght, Johan Galaxy, Madani, and Colin Alexander shooting at Coney Island, NY.

“A proponent of surfboard motifs since his Spring 2017 menswear collection, this new vision of a wetsuit suit comes as a natural innovation to the world of tailor-made apparel.”
