Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2018 New York

Raf Simons presents Calvin Klein 205W39NYC a Ready To Wear female and menswear collection in the second day of New York Fashion Week, making cowboy boots, silk shirts with chest pockets and colored blocks in reference to the United States flag key pieces of his parade.

“It’s about American horror and American beauty,” says Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons. “Fashion tries to hide the horror and embrace only beauty. But they are both a part of life. This collection is a celebration of that: a celebration of American life.”⠀

Select looks from the Spring 2018 CALVIN KLEIN #205W39NYC Men’s + Women’s RTW show, featuring works produced in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation. Watch the entire #nyfw show at calvinklein.com.

A rumination on Americanness, the country’s archetypes and its idioms. Featuring garments created in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation and Hopper Goods, LLC. Pop iconoclast Warhol’s artworks come to life as silkscreened graphics, from the macabre electric chairs and car wrecks of his Death and Disaster series, to intimate portraits of his muses, like art collector Sandra Brant and actor-artist Dennis Hopper, the countercultural luminary behind ‘Easy Rider.’
