Philipp Plein presents ‘Dynasty’ The Resort 2019 in Cannes

International fashion designer Philipp Plein presents Dynasty the Resort 2019 in Cannes.

The designer’s resort runway show will occur ahead of this year’s annual film fest.

On Wednesday, Philipp Plein opened the gates of his private estate on the Cote d’ Azur for his brand’s 2019 resort fashion show. The theme was Dynasty meets David Bowie meets, well, Philipp Plein. In other words, it was all about giltz, glitter, and sex appeal.

Before the show, guests milled around in Plein’s lush garden, which included a literal champagne fountain.

The pre-show party was apparently so hoppin’ that moments before the main event, Plein himself felt compelled to run down the runway, imploring his guests to settle down and take their seats. “The models are walking here, move, move, move!” he shouted.

The collection included a capsule of luxe red carpet gowns, which, in stayed true to the rock’n’roll spirit of Philipp Plein, featured large leopard prints, python-style sequins, flesh-revealing panels, and even an off-the-shoulder biker jacket.

For the boys a metaphoric garments presented at La Jungle du roi –collection saying cash money is dead– models wearing blazers printed by cash money dead symbol modeling by Jhona Bürjack, sensation Pietro Baltazar, Mekhi Lucky aka Mr. Lucky, Martin Tutu For ‘ The Example’, Brian Whittaker, Cesar Casier & Neels Visser.
