Joe Gioia is a sexy dreamboat hidden away in Western Pennsylvania…from the township of Slippery Rock. But, the model sometimes slips away to New York or Los Angeles to pose for pictures. And we happen to catch some snaps from a recent West Coast visit.

LA-based photographer David Anthony got some fine images of Joe that we’re thrilled to show you today. Plus, we did a little Q&A with Joe…so enjoy:

Hit us with some basic demographics, Joe.

I’m 25, 6’ tall 165lbs. Brown hair and green eyes. I’m currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Slippery Rock is my home town. Represented by August Models and the Talent Group.

Tell us about the photo shoot we’re viewing today by David Anthony.

This was such a fun shoot. David is an incredible photographer. He’s super comfortable to work with. I really enjoy working with different photographers to see what their style is and how they operate, and David has been one of my favorites for sure. It was a short-notice shoot because I booked a flight out to LA and let my mother agent (August Models) know and he contacted David to set it up!

How did you break into modeling?

I got contacted when I was 18 to model and kind of put it off. When I was 23, I was contacted on Instagram again and decided to give it a shot. Then I got signed in Pittsburgh and started getting a lot of work in this area.

Did I see on Instagram that you recently married?

No, I did not get married; for some reason I keep booking jobs as a groom haha so I’ve been “married” 4 times.

Any plans to move to LA or NYC to advance your modeling?

I spent time in New York and I don’t think it’s for me, a little too fast paced and crowded. In my hometown, half the people could drive tractors to work haha. Los Angeles is a little more my speed.

You sell cars….tell us about that, Joe.

Selling cars has been one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me. I think it’s the best job in the world. I have the best managers and coworkers and I work for an incredible company. I go to work happy every day and I leave work happy every day. It’s super flexible with me and my modeling jobs I book that are short notice so that’s nice, too. I actually started by detailing a cars and I finally got a shot to start selling.
