What’s a wanderluster?

The word ‘wanderlust’ has become one of the most used terms throughout this year. We see it in travel posts, on Instagram, and even in tattoos. But what exactly does this word mean? Are we born with a ‘wanderlust’ spirit?

There are many of us who do not take this word lightly, since it can represent a whole world of values that we apply in our day to day.

The etymology of wanderlust takes us to the German language. Wandern means “wander”, while lust we translate it as “passion”. This would later derive in an English term wanderlust or what is the same: passion for traveling.
