Continuing with the presentation of women’s fashion, we have selected the Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection showcased at the Versace Fashion Show held today during Milan Fashion Week.

Artist and fashion illustrator, Jessica Rose Bird, encapsulates the essence of novel designs showcased in the highly anticipated Spring-Summer 2024 fashion exhibition.

Just like many designers this season, Donatella Versace drew inspiration from her own archive for Versace’s spring collection.
Specifically, she referenced Gianni Versace’s 1960s mod interpretation from the spring of 1995. Donatella skillfully crafted mod sheaths and Mary Quant-inspired minis using delicate pastel silks and checkered fabrics.

Featuring prominent female fashion models such as Kendall Jenner, Claudia Schiffer, and Gigi Hadid, the essence of the powerpuff girl aesthetic has been seamlessly incorporated. Notably, Donatella expanded this pastel-inspired environment to include a men’s collection as well.

These were paired with impeccably tailored jackets featuring a cinched waist and adorable knit twin sets. To create a contemporary contrast, cargo jeans and sleek leather tailoring were also incorporated.

Yellows, greens, blues, and pastel pink, these have been the standout colors in the Versace fashion show, where Donatella wanted to play chess with fashion.

Gigi Hadid has led the finale. Renowned models like Kendall Jenner and Claudia Schiffer also walked the runway in a collection with minimal designs that the brand isn’t typically known for, and we’ll see it in the spring-summer 2024 season.
