Coach RTW Spring 2025 New York

Coach Spring 2025 is all about optimism, and Stuart Vevers is leading the charge with his latest collection. Vevers, the creative director at Coach, is known for crafting wardrobes for the next generation, and this season is no different. He’s coming off the viral success of the Brooklyn and Empire handbags from his fall line—Bella Hadid was even spotted with one of them!

“I’ve never had so many DMs asking about them,” Vevers said before the show on Monday. His focus right now is all about how younger generations are discovering American classics, and it’s helping shape Coach’s distinct style. He’s realized that when Coach stands out and does something different, people notice and appreciate it.

For spring, Vevers took a fresh look at American classics, playing around with color, proportions, and design. You could see that in the coed chinos, roomy suits, and those classic “I Heart NY” tees, which got fun updates with slogans and sketches. There was a DIY, punk vibe throughout the collection that gave it a cool, authentic feel.

Another big part of this collection was sustainability. Vevers is using more post-consumer materials, which is influencing his designs. For instance, the chinos had raw seams, and upcycled leather jackets were cropped because they had to work with smaller leftover leather pieces.

The outerwear really shined when paired with retro, pastel mini dresses that took the sweetness out of the babydoll look. They were styled with new Soho sneakers and fun, oversized Frame bags shaped like dinosaurs, hearts, and stars.

Vevers also revisited his previous collection’s pajama theme but mixed it up this time by turning them into boxer shorts and panel shirts. This was especially strong in the men’s looks, which had more tailoring than usual but still kept things soft and relaxed.

The show took place on The High Line, which might seem like an easy choice since it’s right by Coach’s HQ, but for Vevers, it was about something deeper. He wanted to showcase these reimagined American classics in the heart of the city to reflect the honest, grounded vibe of the collection.
