In his ongoing European artistic journey, Mexican photographer Carlos Quezada once again stuns us with his signature blend of vulnerability and strength. This time, his subject is Wesley Cloud, a talented dancer with Jr Ballett Zürich, captured in a moment of raw emotion and poetic stillness.

While Quezada often leaves his work untitled, the spirit of this particular shoot is encapsulated in the words he shared alongside it on Instagram:
“The body remembers what silence holds.
I open like a wound—
wishing someone would call it beautiful.”

The composition, light, and mood of the series speak volumes. Wesley’s form becomes more than just a dancer’s body—it’s a living canvas of grace, memory, and quiet power. Every frame evokes movement even in stillness, a hallmark of Quezada’s deeply artistic style.

Compliments pour in each time Carlos shares his work—his ability to capture the essence of masculinity with such softness is unmatched. As of now, Quezada continues to work in Europe, most recently in Hannover, after a prolific creative period in Berlin.

Stay tuned as we follow his journey—and the many beautiful souls he captures through his lens.
