MSGM Spring/Summer 2017 Milan Fashion Week.

The room was buzzing with good vibrations as Etro family and friends walked alongside professional models, all of them dressed to impress themselves alone. Veronica Etro cheered them from the front row — her husband Alessandro Frigerio was in the show, as were two of her nephews, Swann and Gerolamo Etro — while the walkers low-fived as they passed each other, trying not to laugh. One even strode down the runway with his dog.

Alessandro dell’Acqua opted for a presentation rather than a runway show this season. The low-key format matched the spirit of his spring collection, which was a sum of No. 21’s signature pieces.

Gucci presents Spring/Summer 2017 Milan Fashion Week – “I hate to travel,” Alessandro Michele confessed backstage after another sensory overload of a Gucci show. “You don’t have to take a plane. You can just get on the subway.”

Andreas Melbostad loosened up for spring, giving pants more legroom and tops a comfortable silhouette through kimono-inspired cuts.
