Scandinavian wrestlers dressed by Kylie Minogue’s stylist for the open party of a Mykonos gay-for-pay daydream: this was Versace’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection opening. The show steadily delivered some other styling choices that were less bathhouse-bound, yet the theme was kept very in line with Donatella’s vision for a world build around gold detailing and flashy fabrics. Contrarily to previous collections it relied less on piling on the heritage of Versace in every piece – prints were fresher, albeit random. A celebration of life: for power rangers and super heroes alike.
