Simply designed, super-soft, eco-friendly Alternative Apparel is the new brand that we’d like to introduce and have this eco-fabrics we’ve told you before.
Our Eco-fabrics embody the softness Alternative is known for and have been a hallmark of our brand since the beginning. Using a blend of cotton, recycled polyester and natural rayon, fabrics like Eco-Jersey and Eco-Fleece are created from proprietary yarns knitted to exact specifications to recreate a broken-in softness originally inspired by a vintage tee.
We are always working to improve our Eco-Fabrics, searching for ways to innovate from thread to finish. We utilize non-toxic, low-impact dyes on all Eco-fabrics and continue to increase our use of sustainable materials, incorporating organic cotton and transitioning to 100% recycled polyester. In Fall 2014, 65% of our offering will be made from Eco- and organic fabrics.
