Ever since June 2019, when all big fashion brands released their Spring/Summer 2020 menswear collections, fashion enthusiasts from all over the world were impatiently waiting for these items to finally be available. Now that the wait is over, you are free to finally roam the online stores in search of the perfect pieces to complete your summer wardrobe.
For men, Summer 2020 is all about bold colors, unique fabric combinations, and challenging the boundaries of masculinity. If we were to choose a word to describe this year’s summer collections, that’s liberty. Vibrant pieces created by Dior and Versace, monochrome looks featured in Dunhill’s collection, Valentino’s bold double denim suits, and Emporio Armani’s pink suit are some of the highlights of what’s hot in terms of menswear this summer.

Accessories are another element that does not seem to miss form any reputable designer’s collection, especially since men started being a little more experimental with their outfit choices. Gone are the days when watches, ties, and belts were the only acceptable accessories a man could wear. Now, it’s all about hats, purses, pieces of jewelry, and summer scarves.
Because every man should strive to look his best, we are here to help you out by exploring the most impressive fashion accessories collection of this summer, as seen on international catwalks.
Louis Vuitton Monogram Eclipse Reverse
Lois Vuitton’s latest accessories collection for men was launched this June, and their Trio Pochette was the ultimate winning piece. We are all accustomed to LV’s signature Monogram Canvas, but this collection serves as a darker-hued alternative, featuring dark grey monograms printed on a light grey canvas. This combination is so versatile and eye-catching it will satisfy even the most pretentious of men.

Besides the Trio Pochette, the collection also features the Pochette Voyage MM, which works both as a standard clutch and as a toiletries pouch, the Coin Card Holder, and the Discovery Compact Wallet. We found the compact wallet to be one of the most interesting pieces of the collection, as it is a modern approach to the classic men’s wallet, which works wonders with the Monogram Eclipse Reverse print.
Dior Homme X RIMOWA
To launch their SS 2020 menswear collection, Dior started their first-ever collaboration with RIMOWA, a German luxury luggage brand, and released a variety of accessories to compliment their clothing pieces. The collection as a whole served as a testament to the luxury fashion house’s legacy, featuring some timeless pieces and prints that Dior became known for in the past.

For their first collaboration, Dior and RIMOWA presented a capsule accessories collection, which includes a clutch, a backpack, a champagne case, a hand case, and a cabin suitcase, all of which feature iconic details from both brands.
Givenchy Bond
Givenchy’s Bond Ling bag is a very popular choice among women, but when they revealed a line of Bond-inspired bags for this year’s Spring/Summer menswear collection, we know we had to see it right away.

Creative Director Clare Wright Keller gives a style upgrade to the classic Bond Bag, as well as providing more utilitarian features, such as added pockets, chains, and straps, to emphasize functionality. By far, the most versatile piece is the Canvas Backpack, featuring a leather hood, detachable pouches, and plenty of added extra storage. However, if your style is more daring, then take a look at the unique cross-body backpack hybrid, made out of crocodile leather, and ornated with orange rope detailing.
Prada Duple
Each season, Prada launches their eyewear collection, and fans can’t contain their enthusiasm when the pieces become available to purchase. The latest Duple Collection from Prada features three acetate frames on the VPR 09X, SPR 09X, and SPR 04X models, as well as one metal frame for the SPR 53X model, all of which are available in various colors, including ruby, tortoise and military green.

All of the models fit into Prada’s timeless style, combining a contemporary style with pure elegance. With bold designs, metal details, and intricate geometric shapes, this year’s eyewear collection for men is something worth a try. We are convinced most, if not all, of the models will become timeless pieces, which is not surprising for the luxury fashion brand.
Louis Vuitton Taïgarama
The French luxury house launched yet another accessory collection for men this year, known as the Taïgarama collection, which embodies the artistic vision of Virgil Abloh, LV’s menswear artistic director. The collection encapsulates the spirit of travel, which combines with LV’s timeless craftsmanship to present a range of thoughtfully created leather bags and travel accessories suited for men who are always ready for a spontaneous vacation.

The Taïgarama collection brings forward a few of the French house’s iconic bag models, such as the casual and practical Discovery backpack, the functional North South tote bag, the Horizon 50 Rolling Luggage, and the Keepall. To complete the collection, Abloh also added a few small goods, such as the Pocket Organizer, some key chains, cardholders, and the Multiple Wallet. All pieces come in vibrant colors, to match the eclectic style of the LV man.
Givenchy Downtown
Not too long ago, Givenchy launched yet another capsule collection perfect for men who want to stay fashionable. The collection features five pieces, all sporty-inspired bags, ranging from a belt bag to a cross-body one and even a duffle.
All pieces featured a unique detail – the “Givenchy” tag inspired by the luxury fashion house’s archives, emphasized with a red line for a more dramatic effect. The line is imagined for both travel and the city, with its backpacks, duffel bags, belt bags, and cross-body bags working perfectly for casual Saturday outfits, as well as for a spontaneous trip to the Caribbean.

The collection was launched a few months ago, but it made our list because Givenchy decided earlier this summer to launch their Downtown Cross-Body Bag, a favorite of the fans, in nylon, featuring some slight differences. The bag is available in black, gray, and white floral print nylon, featuring the Givenchy label as well, that can also be used as an address tag.
