Daks Spring/Summer 2016 Milan

Inspired by the discipline of gymnasts, Daks creative director Filippo Scuffi delivered a spring collection infused with a rigorous attitude.Sharp silhouettes defined the lineup, which was focused on a cold color palette of white, gray and light blue. Graphic knitted pieces, including double-breasted vests and slim sweaters bearing geometric patterns, had a retro feel, which was also evident in the high-waist pleated pants — one of the season’s biggest trends. While the overall impression was strict and severe, exemplified by pieces crafted from papery leather, lightweight suits cut into fluid silhouettes added a breezy reprieve.
