Boris Bidjan Saberi Fall/Winter 2016 Paris

Sleeves zipped partially off the rumpled parkas and beefy shearlings and dangled freely, somewhat deflating the large volumes Boris Bidjan Saberi explored for fall.

These made sense in a season of sleeveless coats and suit Saberi’s dark, industrial-tinged fashion universe — lightened slightly for fall with putty and cement shades and a sprinkling of pepper tweeds.

There were a few gimmicks. The backs of bomber jackets were drawn up like Venetian blinds, creating awkward bunching. And mirrored sunglasses were suspended over noses via metal headbands.
