Every once awhile, a young actor shows up in a movie like an alien—anonymous and yet in possession of such preternatural talent that audiences start thinking about the actor’s future not in years but in decades. Call Me by Your Name’s Timothée Chalamet (@tchalamet) is such a once-in-a-generation talent

  1. After CMBYN – the world is his oyster, what an amazing talent, he’s so, in tune with his world. He has single handedly given me hope for the future of our youth! His love and passion for acting along with his innocence is fresh and magical. He will be an actor’s actor, he’s so knowledgeable and involved in his craft. What a start to a long and I know beautiful career. I see him as a director, producing even teaching and I hope to live long enough to see all this accomplishments. He’s won my heart over, I’ve repeatedly seen CMBYN and I’m always in awe at how beautiful he shines in every frame. You want to protect him, like I want to keep him away from heartache and pain but that’s his art and he’s so damn good at it, he was born to act. Every time I tear up when see him in pain in CMBYN, it floors me. I’ve cried many days just randomly I truly feel his pain like it’s happened to me, now that’s some good acting. From what I understand he plays a Meth addict in his next movie and supposedly gives us another strong performance, I can’t wait to see it, I want to get over Elio and Oliver and it’s killing me.
