Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY Spring/Summer 2021 London

Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY Spring/Summer 2021 in London presents: SOLASTA, a live-streamed happening…

In tandem with the launch of SOLASTA new capsule tomorrow, we had spent the past few months planning a live-streamed party as our LFW output.

In the hedonistic spirit of the LOVERBOY club nights of old; a kind of ‘LOVERBOY 2.0’, with 2020 vision.

The brand contribution to the first ever digital @LondonFashionWeek will act as a fundraiser for @ukblackpride. Headed back to where LOVERBOY began, in the basement of @vfdalston nightclub we’ll be joined by a plethora of talent.

Audience members are presented with a simple request: that if they learn something, feel something, or take something from this evening – that they donate whatever they are able to via our Go Fund Me platform. Please bring generosity.

As a brand, our planning for this weekend's London Fashion Week showcase has taken place during a unique, and uniquely important, time. More than ever we're reminded to educate ourselves further in the face of inequality toward the Black community - resolutely including the Queer and Trans Black communities in that thinking. We've spent much of the last few weeks considering what actions we can take to support our friends further in the fight for justice. The first of many planned actions is to utilise our space as part of the first digital @LondonFashionWeek to create whatever revenue streams and fundraising channels we can.
The jersey capsule we'll be showcasing tomorrow was developed during lockdown based upon self-portraiture and introspection, it will be sold globally at the end of this year and will see 5% of the revenue generated by LOVERBOY with this collection donated to @kaleidoscope_t.
Whilst we recognise this is a modest contribution, it represents as much as we can offer after the impact of Covid-19 – and we promise there'll be much more to come. Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, we're sharing a sneak preview of the new collection, via our favourite illustrator @dammit.oliver.

For the rest of this month, LOVERBOY will be donating 100% of sales from loverboy.net to the incredible Kaleidoscope International Trust (@kaleidoscope_t) who work to uphold the human rights of LGBT+ people internationally.
