The 78th annual Golden Globes took place yesterday at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles California; honouring the best in American Television for 2020 and also Film in the same year and early 2021 releases.
Although the format of red carpet events have suffered due to the worldwide epidemic, the prestigiousness of winning a golden globe remains the same. With that being said, It was a great year for black film and television at the golden globes, with a substantial amount of nominees and most importantly winners.
The gents who dared to be unpredictable! The stars are keeping fashion alive with the virtual award show as the year’s best film and TV moments were honored.

People who think those time-lapse videos of the sun moving across the sky are transfixing, clearly haven’t seen John Boyega’s #GoldenGlobes hair yet. It’s epic. Wearing what appeared to be a Givenchy suit, the actor revealed in his speech that he was, in fact, not wearing the trousers. “I’m in Balenciagas guys, I’ve got tracksuit bottoms on the bottom and I’m comfortable.” We’re here for it. 🏆
