Burberry Resort 2024 London

The Burberry by Daniel Lee is here to stay, this is the lookbook of menswear Resort 2024.

I think his Burberry tenure will look better with the lookbooks and campaigns rather than the catwalks. Same as his Bottega Veneta days.

The wavy optical checks remind me a little of Prada Spring/Summer 2008 though that used a different colour scheme but it’s still a cool idea.

I liked what Daniel Lee did at Bottega Veneta too…But we have to admit, just by looking at this pre-collection, that the connection between his aesthetic and whatever Burberry is supposed to represent works perfectly. It just works! I think the clothes are fantastic, clever, wearable and believable. You can pull a piece from his Burberry with an obvious emblem of the house without the fear of being tacky.

He’s finally finding his way, which sounds exciting. Looks much more glamorous and less streety and I appreciate that. Not too keen on accessories and shoes either.
